My dear friend Kenny was recently quoted at the close of an article in the New York Times.
He had this to say to me last night. Listen up, you deaf NYT kooks:
"I said I wanted to be an astrophysicist, not an astronaut."
You see? Dancers finally gain some recognition as having some brains to compliment all that coordination, and one misquote makes my poor friend sound like a third grader instead of someone who actually knows what an astrophysicist is or does. It's been very inspiring to see my professional dancer friend dive headfirst into his own higher education. His particular fascination with physics seemed absurd at first, but during some of the most recent conversations we had on the topic, I realized that Kenny could actually become an astrophysicist. He has the mind and the passion for it. Happy Birthday, Bunny.
